Changes to Consumer Plans from 14 September

As you may be aware from information in the media, nbn is modifying the speed tiers for its FTTP and HFC internet offerings starting today. This means that there have been some significant changes to the speeds on offer here at FUBAR - but no change to existing pricing!

nbn Consumer 100/20 services delivered over FTTC, FTTN, and FTTB will remain at the same speed due to limitations in the technology connecting these premises. Customers currently on the 100/20 speed delivered over FTTP or HFC will migrate automatically to the new Consumer HomeFast II plan.

If are currently at an FTTC, FTTN, or FTTB address and wish to benefit from the higher speeds available on the HomeFast II plan, you may wish to consider looking at an upgrade to fibre (if available at your premises). We will soon be sending out communications to all our eligible customers, or you can contact our staff via support@itsfubar.com.au if you'd like us to run a manual check for you.

Customers on the 100/40 plan delivered over FTTP and HFC services will be migrated to the new Consumer 500/50 to take advantage of the lower price and increased speeds. Those on FTTC, FTTN, and FTTB will remain on their current plan to take advantage of the higher upload speeds the Consumer 100/40 plan currently offers, however this plan will slowly be phased out as addresses transition to FTTP.

All other Fixed Wireless, Satellite and Business plans will stay the same.
